KLMU Sabah:Diploma in Architecture
Diploma in Architecture you will be provided with a strong foundation in architecture that equips you with the requisite skills and insight for comprehensive analysis, design and implementation. Besides learning construction materials and technology, you will also be trained on expressing and communicating design ideas.
You will understand design methodology, the history and theory of architecture, sustainability and the statutory requirements that must be applied and integrated into a project. During the design process, critical thinking and decision-making are specifically developed so that you can become creative, innovative and enterprising. Through practice and unique training, you also learn to both work independently or be an effective team player depending on the circumstances dictated by the project.
Course Aims
Cosmopoint College provide students with architectural design principles, theories and history supported by the creative problem-solving skills necessary to help them to assist in producing sustainable architecture designs.
To equip the students with comprehensive building science and knowledge of building construction, building technology, materials and building services.
To train students to draw, document and present their architectural design works using CADD, 3DMAX, PHOTOSHOP, SKETCH UP and last updated software technologies in electronic studios.
Future Career Opportunities
Graduates of Cosmopoint Sabah are able to have rewarding careers as CAD operators, site inspectors, quantity surveyors and graphic designers.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
SPM with at least 3 credits inclusive Mathematics and pass in Art Studies. Candidates without Art Studies in SPM are required to attend an interview to present their artwork.
Pass in Bahasa subject is a must

"I only prepared a few things for the competition and I didn't expect to win. I had only one week to practice but today I'm proud to be the winner" he said after receiving his prizes from one of the judges, Chef Johan Sinam.
Apart from the cash prize, a Papar-born also recieved a Petronas gas cylinder and other goodies from the sponsors.
The second spot went to Mohd Hafiz Awang Mohd Su'ud who won a cash prize of RM800, a Petronas gas cylinder and goodies from the organizers, while Isnin Shah was placed third and also won a RM300 cash prize, a Petronas gas cylinder and goodies.
The cooking competition held at the Karamunsing Complex yesterday, was part of activities of the 2012 Food Carnival at the shopping complex which started on June 1 until today (June 3)
It is divided into two categories, namely for cooks and chefs, which have 20 and 16 participants will vie for the top prize of RM3,500 cash, a trophy and cooking products from sponsors.
The judges for the competition besides Johan are Chef Danny Hamzah, nancy Lim and Clare Celementina Johan.
Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun will attend the final day of the competition today since the event is supported and endorsed by ministry.
The main organizer, Zee Tech, has also lined up several competitions for the public with prizes to be won.
